We spend our time and money right here in our own backyard and by doing so we are being better neighbors today and for our kids tomorrow. Today's article talks about two local businesses. The first is a long standing tradition, the second a brand new business. Both are vital to the economic health of our communities. Flint Farm of Mansfield MassachusettsAs the warm weather approaches we start daydreaming about Flint Farm Ice Cream. I've already stopped by twice. My favorite is orange pineapple, one scoop please! My boys double the scoop and pick fun names like purple cow, green monster or totally turtle. What's your dish? Ice cream is not the only diet change we make during the summer, and when I refer to diet I mean "WHAT WE EAT" not going on one, ha! What fun would that be? Anyhow, we tend to eat our food cold in the hot weather. Which brings me to my second local business introduction.

Great example of fusion marketing Robin Clapp, love it. My family loves Flint's in the summer. It's a Sunday night ritual. I haven't been to the Best Sandwich shop yet but I will. Keep up promoting local businesses. It so important. The last stat I saw on this topic show that 68% of the money spent in local business stays in the local community.

You can't get better sweet corn than Flint Farm! I'll start looking for the sign "the corn is in" at the end of July. The ice cream is the best around too.

Flint Farm has always been a favorite of ours. We sometimes stop by after work for an ice cream, which usually becomes our dinner. Don't tell my doctor!

I have been going to Flint Farm for the 8 years that I have lived in Mansfield, we love it! My favorite ice cream is Black Raspberry YUM! My kids love to swing in the wooden swings. We also go to the corn maze every fall, it is a blast and we love the trivia questions throughout! I have recently stumbled upon The Best Sandwich Shop in Norton. They are very friendly and make fantastic beef stew and TBLT sandwiches. They quickly made it onto my top 5 sandwich shop's in the area!

My husband and I are avid fans of Flint Farm. Generally go there for as much of our produce as we can get during the summer months. My favorite ice-cream is Death By Chocolate - YUM!

Flint Farm is the perfect place to head after a long, hot baseball game. Whether your team wins or loses, everyone loves hanging together at Flint Farm and reviewing the game.
My personal favorite flavor is Peppermint.

I love going to the farm for ice cream! My favorite is Purple Cow, although I usually get something different every time I go. There's no better way to end a summer day than stopping by a local family run business and indulging in some Ice Cream and sitting on the wooden swing.
